THE WINNERS

Mosaic won this week and they won a trip to a nice country house with a private beach.

THE BOARDROOM

Raj, Ivana, and Kevin were sent to the boardroom.

FIRED

Raj, because of his inability to lead properly and leaving the house a mess and hiring a bad contractor.

WHY IT WAS GOOD

The show brought back some old characters so it was interesting to see them interact with each other after being stabbed in the back several weeks ago, also the challenge was very interesting to see and how the contestants interacted with this new challenge.

LESSON LEARNED

Always make sure to hire a good contractor, they can really make or break your projects because they can be lazy or just not very good at their job.

Chapter 28 Assessment

1)  Something that can be done to help give costumers ease of mind is to ensure privacy with all of their info. Even if this is already happening ,the customer would be more willing to help if they were reminded that security is guaranteed.

2) No not necessarily, the people who run certain sections of the surveying team don't need to be overseeing all of the other surveys.

3) Focus groups would be helpful when testing different variables in the car wash, whether it be different shampoos or the water pressure. Another helpful way would be testing. This would be important because the company can see which products are working and which aren't.

4) They are interested in these things because they like to know where certain groups of people live so they can drive up prices in that area or build more locations in a certain place depending on what the demo is.

5) The families with more kids will be more interested in toys and products directed towards kids, and they have to buy cheap. The families with no kids will be able to spend more money and don't buy toys and that kind of stuff.

Current event, December 2016

This Sunday marked a very important day for the employees of the Burlington Mall. A day off, in the middle of holiday shopping season, on a weekend. The reason for this is that the water main broke, sending water all throughout the mall. From a marketing and business standpoint, this is a huge blow. On one of the busiest days of the whole year, something unavoidable hits and the company are forced to shut down. Regardless, the holiday shopping is bound to  ramp up as the year comes to a close but such a critical closure certainly needs to be addressed.

Video Game History pt3

The first Racing video game was put out all the way back in 1974, called "Speed Race", a Japanese cabinet racing game that because so popular that it came to the U.S. with a new name, "Wheels".  Nowadays the racing games are so much more real, and intense. One very popular online game for racing is called The Crew, all about racing across the country with your friends at your side. Arguably the biggest racing game is the Forza series, which is made exclusively for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. A sillier game that has always succeeded in the handheld industry was the Mario Kart series, available for pretty much every Nintendo device since that company started.
